Here is a brief summary of how our Design and Consultation process works;
Initially we will speak over the phone and listen to a description of what you are wanting to do. Through the conversation we will determine what the next step is.
If we decide to move forward, we schedule a time to meet at your home and email you a short questionnaire that will help you think through your project and help us gather information that will assist us in helping you accomplish your goals. When we meet at your home we will talk through the questions and begin to build a plan for the Outdoor Space.
The process from here involves putting together a preliminary rough design sketch (conceptual design). If a larger more detailed design is desired or required then we will discuss those options.
Throughout the Process we will discuss the costs, budgets, phases and of course the materials and installation process. Your designer will provide samples, photos, testimonials and if needed visit existing projects with you.
The consulting/estimating fee varies based upon the size and scope of the project. The average consulting fee is $80.00. As stated above, the consulting fee will include the consultation about the project, a rough conceptual sketch and a preliminary estimate. Some projects do not require a sketch and can be estimated within the visit.
Any designs beyond the Conceptual Sketch will vary in cost and those prices will be discussed when needed.
